The Air Intake Hose connects to the air filter box and intake manifold. This hose has the primary role of allowing air to pass to the carburetor while acting in conjunction with air box and filter to keep the air free of debris, thus preventing the entry of dirt and debris from the intake manifold in order to keep the vehicle running properly and maximizing the gas mileage. This hose also brings outside air into the vehicle's intake manifold.
