The Inner Rotor works with the vehicle's oil pump in delivering oil throughout the engine. This component fits into the outer rotor and it forced by a shaft that's turned by the camshaft to create enough pressure that causes the oil to move through a delivery pipe to lubricate the engine and remove contaminants.
